Employment Opportunites

Our work is conducted in an open culture that nourishes success and supports our employees to be able to provide high quality services.

We at Momentum value growth for everyone, staff and participants alike. We encourage and look for innovative and creative thinking, with the Bomb Diggity Bakery and Café in Windham, a Permaculture site in Casco, the art studio and Wellness Center in Portland, and the Relate program all being examples of staff driven enterprises within Momentum. If your idea has potential to enhance the lives of the people we serve, you will find support to make it a reality!

There is room to grow in Momentum. We look to our pool of Direct Support Professionals when we are recruiting Lead DSPs, Program Administrative Assistants, and Program Administrators. Most of our management staff started out as DSPs in our community support programs. We are also very interested in hearing ideas people might have to expand their responsibilities within Momentum. We have DSPs writing grants, planning and going on long distance trips, leading writing, music, and photography groups, making movies, teaching visual arts – the list goes on and on!

Engage your abilities to inspire people to fulfill their goals and dreams and be part of team building as a Momentum employee. Bring your talents and personal interests and find in Momentum a place to spread your wings and share your passions.

We post job openings internally and on Indeed.com. If you are interested in working in a dynamic and meaningful environment, e-mail your resume and a letter of interest to: phillips@momentumme.com.

One last thing: Momentum’s community support programs are very active. Activities include hiking, camping, kayaking, rock climbing, fishing, swimming, surfing, Special Olympics training, gym workouts, and much more! If you enjoy getting out in the community and doing stuff, this might be the place for you! Never a dull moment at Momentum!
